"Betsy"

Hopes On The Rocks With A Twist
Breeder-Hopes Kennels Brittanys
Brittany-3 yrs old
My "right hand" dog.
We are working towards becoming a "Therapy dog" team.
Her favorite things to do....Leaping through high grass in the fields and sleeping

"Peanut"
Jack Russell Terrier
11years old
My first "small" dog, so she is quite spoiled. Peanut taught me all the things I shouldn't do when owning a dog.
She knows Tricks, some agility, flyball, and go to ground.
She is a great mouser and is the ears for her deaf sister "Hopie"

Miss "Hopie"

Jack Russell Terrier
10 yrs old
Born deaf
The breeder asked me to watch her one weekend
after the new owners returned her due to her deafness.
Different vets suggested she be put to sleep, which the breeder refused to do.
I watched her that weekend and she never went back to the breeder.
Trained properly, deaf dogs DO NOT always become aggressive

 "Boomer"

Age unknown- Aprox. 8yrs.

I rescued Boomer from a rescue in PA.

His family rehomed because of a house fire. They had taken their other dogs but left Boomer behind

He is a very strange dog and has many unexplainable quirks. Despite his size, he is wonderful with the grandkids and spends most of his time on "his bed"

"Chase"
5 year old Smooth Fox Terrier
Chase didn't make it as a show dog because of his conformation faults.
Can you guess what they are?
He is my "problem child" and gets at least 1 timeout a day.
He is dog aggressive, although only with certain dogs and when there is food around....and toys around....or small children....
Dispite all these faults I love this dog dearly and will deal with a life time of "doggy" management.
On his good days he makes me laugh.
(By the way, its his ears.)

"Elvis"
Ch. Loki-Hope's Won For The Money
Brittany 8 yrs old.
Breeder- Hopes Kennels Brittanys
Elvis is a champion and received an Award of Merit at the Westminster Kennel Show.
It came time for his hips to get x rayed and unfortunately they failed and he would not be used for breeding.
Fortunate for me, he is now my "handsome" man and enjoys his life of leisure.
His favorite things to do?
Digging  big holes to lie in and chasing the occasional bird that flys by.
